Ari Beers is a highly experienced and respected yoga instructor, meditation teacher, and Ayurvedic expert with over 12 years of experience. She is renowned for successfully fusing Western approaches to health with Eastern elements such as Yoga and Ayurveda, making her one of the most prominent voices in the field of health and wellness.
As the founder of Anahata Conscious Living, Ari is committed to helping her students develop their own daily yoga practice and teaching yoga as medicine. Her unique method draws influences from Kundalini, Tantric, and Hatha yoga, as well as Shamanic breathwork, ancient philosophy, and meditation making it a holistic approach to overall health and wellness. Ari's yoga sequences are designed to support practices in understanding how trauma is stored and experienced in the body, making it a therapeutic practice for mental and physical health. She works with different Ayurvedic elements to help relieve anxiety and depression and help her clients build a wellness lifestyle and consistent, dedicated practice.

Hand Hygiene
Proper and frequent handwashing to help combat the spread of germs. We all know cleanliness starts with this one simple act and is of vital importance for the health of our employees and of our guests
Guest Rooms
We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with special attention paid to high-touch items.
Retreat Spaces
We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public areas, focusing on the counters, door handles, and shared bathrooms. No surface is left uncleaned. In the spaces where team members work “behind the scenes”, we increase the frequency of cleaning and focus on high-touch areas like associate entrances.

In both practices, we draw our focus inward, honing our attention on the present moment. The strong Ujjayi breath, a fundamental aspect of yoga, becomes a parallel to the rhythmic breaths taken while riding a wave. The engagement of the core, pulling the bellybutton into the spine, is a shared element, fostering stability and balance in both activities.
Surfing, much like yoga, is a dance with balance. As you ride a wave, you navigate the ever-changing dynamics, requiring a centered and balanced approach.
